Ian Clarkson

Councillor Ian Clarkson has represented the people of Irvine for 17 years as a Labour Councillor. He became Provost of North Ayrshire on 31 August 2016 following a change in Administration. He also represented North Ayrshire Council as Depute Provost from 2007 to 2012. Provost Clarkson is North Ayrshire’s Veterans Champion. Councillor Clarkson represents North Ayrshire Council on: Lowland Reserve Forces and Cadets Association and Scottish Parliament Cross Party Group on Supporting Veterans.
