Claire Johnson

CJ-IM Consult offers a friendly consultancy and training service for all sizes of organisations. Claire became an independent consultant in April 2009 and she has wide experience of applying proportionate Information and Records Management (IRM) policy and practice to technology projects and in organisational change environments.  In particular she can translate the existing Data Protection Act requirements into the comprehensive data privacy safeguards required by the forthcoming EU GDPR.

She is well-versed in the strategic and practical aspects of IRM such as retention schedules, privacy preparedness and audit, business classification planning, metadata schema, information mapping. In September 2011 she completed a LL.M in IT and Telecommunications Law at the University of Strathclyde. She is a Fellow of the Information and Records Management Society (IRMS).
