Member Visit to Dundonald Castle

We are closing off the Summer with a fabulous activity filled visit to ABW member Dundonald Castle.  We are thrilled that the team at Dundonald Castle have put on an afternoon of activities for us including:

• Apothecary – medieval healing and medicine making
• Meet the Owls – Our team of educational owls which can be handled and a photograph taken if desired
• Sword Fighting instruction – An introduction to sword handling and movement
• Instructive Tour of the museum and castle

All activities are optional so you can get involved with as much or as little as you want. This will be followed by Coffee/Tea and Cake and networking in the Visitors Centre.

Please note: Dundonald Castle is located at the top of a steep hill. Although there is a weatherproof and non-slip pathway, this may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.  

This really is a one-off member visit and one not to be missed.  Guests are also welcome so feel free to bring friends and family.

£5 from every ticket sold will be donated to our charity partner Honeypot Children's Charity.
