About ABW

The ABW is an affiliate group of the Association of Scottish Businesswomen.

Ayrshire Business Women was founded in 1994 and is run by a committee of dedicated volunteers.

As professional women, we actively endorse the development of women in business and exchange ideas, opinions, experiences and opportunities between our members.

This year we are hosting all of our events on Zoom for the time being which include Virtual Speeches by the Members themselves, and a Virtual Members Meeting on the first Friday morning of every month. These will eventually transition into actual events once the COVID restrictions are over and we can all meet up in person to network again.

The new Committee will have some exciting plans for re-invigorating the Association in 2021, and will be focussed on delivering affordable, value-for-money benefits to Members, having already commenced a PR Campaign to attract new women to join the Association this month.

Any Business Woman currently working in Ayrshire can join the ABW on a FREE TRIAL BASIS for the next two months via the website www.abw.org.uk using the code FREE2020. This will expire on the 31st March 2021, and after that date they are offering a Discounted Rate of only £25.00 for the following 12 months until 31st March 2022.

“The primary goal for the new 2021 ABW Committee is to increase the networking opportunities available to local Business Women, - whilst also raising the profile of the group and promoting the Member Businesses – both internally and externally throughout Ayrshire.”

Our new tagline for 2021 is  #NewYear #NewWomen #NewBusiness
