Ayrshire Business Women will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 18th February 2021, and applications are invited from current Members to join the ABW Committee. Submissions must be emailed to the President before the deadline 31st January, and Nominations must have a Proposer and a Seconder from within the group.
Tamara Campbell, SPIN Admin is currently the Acting President, following the Official Resignation of Mary Cahill, GOSH Creative from the role of President as of 8th December last year.
“There have been a lot of changes within the Association during the past two years, and COVID has made it very difficult for the group to continue with the current networking structure we had in place.
We have had to move all of our events and communications to on-line platforms, and Mary Cahill has stayed in touch with our Members during COVID - primarily through our private Facebook Group.
This year our AGM will be held on Zoom, along with a Virtual Members Meeting on the first Friday morning of every month – which will eventually transition into actual events once the COVID restrictions are over and we can all meet up in person to network again.”
The new Committee will have some exciting plans for re-invigorating the Association in 2021, and will be focussed on delivering affordable, value-for-money benefits to Members, having already commenced a PR Campaign to attract new women to join the Association this month.

This will expire on the 31st March 2021, and after that date they are offering a Discounted Rate of only £25.00 for the following 12 months until 31st March 2022.
