Personal Safety with Police Scotland

Personal Safety with Police Scotland

Last night at the Kilwinning Campus of the Ayrshire College we had the pleasure of Police Constable Jamie Dunlop, a Safer Communities Officer based at the Ayr Police Office, presenting on your personal safety and security in the community.

Scottish Safety Supplies sponsored the event and Tina Campbell advised us all about fire safety and an overview of the health and safety legislation for the workplace.

During dinner we heard from 2 guest speakers of North Ayrshire Council, Laura Cook and the opportunities available to get involved in Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Ayrshire and Sheena Campbell who spoke about Violence Against Women.

We were joined by business education students from Marr College and Irvine Royal Academy, as well as 4 successful applicants of our new growth scholarship placements, which is sponsored by The Microtech Group.
